ABOUT ESHOWE
The city of Eshowe is situated on Route 66 in the heart of beautiful Zululand just over an hours drive from Umhlanga and Durban's new international airport in the South and Richards Bay to the North.
Like any city it has good shopping, sports venues, schools, churches and plenty of accommodation for the many tourists who visit the area.
Eshowe is within easy reach of wonderful game reserves, historic battlefields and pristine beaches and the surrounding forests are renowned for their abundant birdlife.
The Community of Eshowe is wonderfully supportive of the Zululand Homes .
Caring individuals take the elderly shopping and make regular visits to the home.
The Service clubs take on large projects eg Eshowe Round Table have refurbished bathrooms and several bible study groups have upgraded some of the bedrooms and the Lions Club organizes regular inhouse entertainment for the residents.
